Trichoderma Harzianum is a beneficial fungus widely used in agriculture and horticulture for its various advantageous properties.

DESCRIPTION:

  • BIOCONTROL AGENT: Trichoderma Harzianum is used for seed and soil treatment to suppress fungal pathogens causing various plant diseases.
  • MYCOPARASITISM: It attacks and parasitizes other fungi, making it an effective biological control agent.
  • ENZYME PRODUCTION: Produces enzymes like cellulases and chitinases, which help in breaking down cellulose and chitin.
