Acetobacter organic biofertilizer

Grow Aceto is a biological fertilizer based on symbiotic Nitrogen-Fixing Aerobic Bacteria Acetobacter or Gluconacetobacter. It can actively fix atmospheric nitrogen aerobically. It is found in symbiotic relationship with plants such as sugarcane and coffee by colonizing their internal issues. Acetobacter is capable of surviving in high sugar concentrations.

  • Nitrogen cannot be absorbed by the plants owing to the strong triple bonds between the nitrogen atoms making it inert and therefore non assimilable by plants.
  • Gluconacetobacter is capable of fixing Nitrogen in the roots, stems and leaves of Sugarcane plant.
  • Gluconacetobacter produces growth promoting substances such as Indole acetic acid (IAA), and gibberellins that promote root proliferation and increase the rootlet density and root branching which resulting in increased uptake of mineral and water which promotes cane growth and sugar recovery from the cane.


  • Grow Aceto is highly suitable for Sugarcane, Sweet Potato and Sweet Sorghum.
  • The bacteria are known as black urea since it provides higher nitrogen requirement like urea.
  • This bio inoculants fixes nitrogen in roots, stems and leaves of Sugarcane, Sweet Potato and Sweet Sorghum.
  • Acetobacter bacteria which has the ability to colonize the plant roots and fixing atmospheric Nitrogen.

Soil Application

1 TO 2 BIO Capsules/Acre

Method 1: Mix 1 to 2 bio capsules/acre of Grow Aceto with compost/FYM and apply to an acre of soil.

Method 2: Mix 1 to 2 bio capsules /acre of Grow Aceto with 200-liter water and do drenching near the root zone on the plants.

Recommended Crops

  • Sugarcane, Sweet Potato and Sweet Sorghum.

Seedling treatment

Mix 1 to 2 bio capsules of Grow Aceto with 50-100 liters of water. Dip the seedlings roots required for 1 acre in the suspension for 30 minutes prior to transplanting so that the bacteria get attached to the roots.

Shelf Life

  • Is stable for 16 months from the date of manufacturing.
